How could I be denied insurance coverage?

You may forfait your car's insurance coverage if:

  • You do not perform the verifications of the driver's documents and additional drivers

  • You make a false insurance claim

  • You report an incident to Drivy more than 5 days after the end of the rental

  • You do not sign the rental contract with the driver

  • Your car is not insured, at least with a third party liability coverage

  • Your car does not fulfill the compulsory routine inspection requirements of its registration country

  • Your car is not maintained properly (certificates can be requested)

  • You accept a payment of all or part of the rental fee out of the Drivy website

  • You didn't take pictures at the beginning of the rental (doesn't apply to Open rentals where the pictures are taken by the driver)
