What is the cancellation policy on Drivy?

If you cancel a rental:

When you accept a rental, you commit to providing a car to the driver. As a consequence, fees may apply if you cancel a rental. The amount of these fees will depend on when you cancelled the rental:

  • 25€/£ fee if you cancel more than 48 hours before the rental should have started
  • 50€/£ fee if you cancel less than 48 hours before the rental should have started
  • 100€/£ fee if you cancel at the last minute (you leave your Open car locked by key or you don’t show to the check-in).

Additionally and in case of repeated and /or unjustified cancellations, measures can be taken up to suspending your account.

If the driver cancels a rental:

In some cases, you can be compensated if the driver cancelled.

When a driver books a rental on Drivy, he can cancel it for free within the 4 hours following his payment. After this 4-hour period, here is the cancellation policy :

More than 48 hours before the beginning of the rental:

The rental can be canceled anytime for free. The driver is fully refunded within 3 business days.

Less than 48 hours before the beginning of the rental:

  • If you are responsible for the cancellation (you are no longer available, don’t want to rent the vehicle anymore, don’t show up at check-in …): the driver will be fully refunded within 3 business days.

  • If the driver is responsible for the cancellation (wants to cancel, doesn’t show up at check in…): you will be compensated of 50% of your expected revenues on the first 7 days of the rental max.

NB: If the rental was cancelled because the driver’s profile couldn’t be verified, you won’t be compensated.

You have 24h after the cancellation to request for compensation.

To cancel a rental, go to Your Rentals > Selected rental > Cancel the rental.
