Should I ask for a deposit cheque or proof of address?

No, that’s not necessary. Drivy will take care of debiting the driver in case of additional charges during the rental. You should not ask the driver for a deposit cheque.

Drivy does have a deposit system for rentals with cars in the category 3 (+4 for France). Please be assured that you won't have anything to pay as long as the rental conditions are respected.

Drivy does have a deposit system for all rentals:

  • Category 1: £250 deposit
  • Category 2: £250 deposit
  • Category 3: £800 deposit
