What is the refund policy for cancellations on Drivy?

When you rent a car on Drivy, you can cancel your booking for free up​ ​to​ ​4​8 hours before the rental starts. If you want to cancel after this delay, we will only be able to refund half your payment.

However, there are some special cases in which you will be refunded in case of cancellation:

  • You cancelled the rental less than 4 hours after paying for it: you will be fully refunded.
  • The owner cancelled the rental (he/she wanted to cancel, the car was no longer available, the owner doesn’t show...): you will be fully refunded.
  • You cancelled a rental that was supposed to last more than 7 days: in this case you will be refunded for half the price of the first 7 days, and then for the remaining days in full. For instance: You cancel a rental that was supposed to last 14 days and cost 400£: you will be refunded for 100£ (half the price of the first 7 days) and then for the 200£ matching the remaining 7 days of the rental: 300£ overall.
